Grier Laughlin, President
Locally born and raised, Grier has been a part of the Denver community for over 25 years. He attended Cherry Creek High School, and went on to graduate from Dartmouth College. Grier opened the doors at Quintus Financial Services in 2008.
Before starting Quintus, Grier had extensive experience in the markets. He acquired his first securites license in 1998 while trading in New York City. From there he went on to manage a trading floor in Florida which focused on NYSE and Nasdaq stocks. In 2003, he decided to come back to Denver and moved to the retail side of the stock market. He started this new endeavor at Merrill Lynch and continued as Vice President at AmFirst Investment Services.
Grier maintains Series 7, 24, 55, 63 and 66 licenses with FINRA. He is licensed as an insurance producer in Colorado.
Chester A. Wallace, CFP®, CRPC®, Senior Vice President
Chet has lived in Colorado for 32 years. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and later obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification in 2005 and his CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELLOR® certification in 2007. He joined Grier at Quintus in 2008.
Prior to joining Quintus, Chet worked at Merrill Lynch for 12 years. He focuses on providing , implementing and monitoring financial plans for clients and developing investment solutions in conjunction with those plans.
Chet maintains series 7, 66 and 31 licenses with FINRA as well as CFP® and CRPC® certificates. He is licensed as an insurance producer in Colorado and Washington.
Brian S. Peters, CFP®, CRPC®, Senior Vice President
As a Colorado native, Brian attended Cherry Creek High School. His future education was at Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, where he received a degree in Finance and Economics. Brian became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certificant in 2005 and received his CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELLOR® certification in 2007. He joined Quintus in 2009.
Before joining Quintus, Brian was a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, Prudential Securities and Olde Discount Securities. Brian was also an Assistant Branch Manager while at Prudential Securities. He has 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. Brian's expertise is in comprehensive financial planning, wealth strategies, and daily money management. He helps clients build, preserve and distribute wealth in a risk conscious and tax efficient manner.
Brian maintains series 7, 65, 3, 9 and 10 licenses with FINRA as well as CFP® and CRPC® certificates. He is a licensed insurance producer in Colorado, New York and Texas.
Amanda Silkwood, Executive Assistant / Office Manager
Amanda started with Quintus in 2008. Amanda is currently the Executive Assistant and Office Manager for Quintus Financial Services.
Just before joining Quintus, Amanda was an Executive Assistant at AmFirst Bank. Prior to AmFirst, Amanda resided in Illinois. She received a B.S. in Business Administration / Finance from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville. Amanda has successfully passed the Series 7 exam and works in an adminstrative capacity, supporting Grier, Chet and Brian.
